We all want growth and progress for ourselves,
get ahead in life - as human beings we have the unique ability,
and indeed the responsibility, to determine where we're
going, and how we want to get there.
But we can't do it all alone.
I didn't know all that when I left Germany in 1984 and
went to South Africa :
I had worked in Hamburg and London before
and was on a career path in commercial shipping, achieved
many ambitions in Johannesburg and then broke through
some other barriers in Cape Town. I am now back in
Europe and work from Villach in Austria.
Project Management
Wherever I worked, sooner or later there were projects
that couldn't be realized by using existing resources,
without neglecting the daily business. Sometimes certain
expertise was missing, there wasn't enough time
or an unbiased perspective was needed.
There were many opportunities that were never seriously
tackled because of that, and precious chances missed.
I am therefore offering my professional help for projects,
on a freelance basis, that you would like to see
come true but never had the chance to work on.
You don't have to formally employ me for that -
instead we'll define the task at hand, clarify responsibilities
and agree on a time-frame : your liabilities and
cost are strictly limited.
