I have created the products you see on this page for one reason only : to help myself understand and integrate the complexities of personal growth. So far my books are only available in English.

The one exception in both cases is the book "My New World - Australia" at the bottom : it is in both English and German and I have published it in print, as well.

I have made the eBooks and the Screen Meditation™ more presentable now and would offer and recommend them to anyone looking for help and a Compass in life.

When I initially wrote The REAL Facts of Life, it was because I was confused and overwhelmed by the Universal Laws of Human Nature that supposedly governed our lives. I never knew they existed before I stumbled across some books hinting at this invaluable knowledge.

True to my inquisitive nature, I began to look for specific reading material about esoteric concepts - published resources were scarce at the time, but it was a fascinating subject : there was so much to know, explore and apply !

It took dozens of books and a lot of time to find out how everything works and fits together. Not only did I need to keep track of the various ideas, writing things down is also a great tool to clarify the mind and focus on complex issues for insight and understanding.

So I started to write it all down in one place - The REAL Facts of Life is a summary of the universal principles that govern our lives. They apply to all of us, all the time, whether we are conscious of them or not.

These universal laws cannot be broken, so it is best to comply if we want to lead a life without suffering the consequences of breaking them. Pleading ignorance will not keep you out of your own jail, either - I wished someone had offered me a no-nonsense explanation of what exactly these Universal Laws of Human Nature are all about 20 years ago.

MOVING HORIZONS is a summary of my best articles that I wrote for my eNewsletter COMPASS. I started publishing it when I left the corporate world of Shipping, having settled at the Cape of Good Hope.

How often have we looked out over False Bay from our house in Simon's Town in the morning ? With a cup of tea in our hands, we marvel at the sunrise over the Hottentot Holland Mountains 40 kilometers across the sea to the east almost every day.

I never started counting. It wasn't important because we were enjoying the moment, and we knew there would be many mornings like this.

Sometimes in season, there are whales or dolphins to watch, but most of the time it is just the magnificent sunrise at the southern tip of Africa. And some birds chirping in our Fynbos garden, unless the guinea-fowl kick up a racket.

Apart from that - peace and quiet. The comfortable stillness that only nature provides. The content impression that this is how everything is meant to be.

These are the first lines of the introduction I wrote for MOVING HORIZONS. I didn't know until a few years ago that I could write, when one Sunday morning I sat down at my computer, feeling that I needed to record how I had started my journey on the road of personal growth.

That article BEGINNING OF A JOURNEY actually won an award with the South African Odyssey Magazine and was published there a month later. It is the leading article of my eBook MOVING HORIZONS.

MY NEW WORLD - AUSTRALIA is a children's book that my mother wrote in German when she lived in South Africa just before her 80th birthday. I translated it to English and my brother, Daniel's father, provided all the photographs.

MEINE NEUE WELT - AUSTRALIEN ist ein Kinderbuch, das meine Mutter auf Deutsch geschrieben hat, als sie in Südafrika lebte, kurz vor ihrem 80sten Geburtstag. Ich habe es dann ins Englische übersetzt und mein Bruder, Daniel's Vater, hat alle Fotos beigesteuert.

On 40 pages, the whole booklet is in two languages and therefore not only makes good bedtime reading, but is also educational for anyone learning the second language. The story marks an important milestone for a very gifted little boy growing up in the 21st century.

Das ganze Buch ist zweisprachig auf 40 Seiten und nicht nur schön als 'Gute-Nacht-Geschichte', sondern hat auch erzieherischen Wert für alle, die eine zweite Sprache lernen. Es markiert einen wichtigen Meilenstein für einen sehr begabten kleinen Jungen, der im 21sten Jahrhundert aufwächst.

The hero of the book is Daniel, my nephew, who moves from Germany to Australia with his parents and discovers a very different world where Christmas is in summer and one can play on the beach or in the water almost all year round.

Der Held des Buches ist Daniel, mein Neffe, der mit seinen Eltern von Deutschland nach Australien zieht und eine ganz andere Welt entdeckt, in der Weihnachten im Sommer ist und man fast ganzjährig am Strand und im Wasser spielen kann.
