Welcome to the COMPASS Writer's Challenge !
Publish an article about your own experience with personal growth.

You have probably subscribed to my eNewsletter COMPASS by now and read my article BEGINNING OF A JOURNEY which you can download as a "Thank You" for subscribing.

That award-winning article tells the story of how I discovered and travelled the road of personal growth so far, and it inspired me to write many more articles which now form my first book in the MOVING HORIZONS series.

Writing about things for me is a great tool to clarify the mind and find solutions, or insights. It might do the same for you : you dig a lot deeper when you sit down, focus and write about what you are dealing with, instead of brushing it under the carpet after it's been swirling around in your head for a while.

So it occurred to me recently that most of my readers probably also have many interesting stories to tell about how THEY remember the beginning and progress of THEIR voyage of self-development !

That is what I am looking for in the COMPASS Writer's Challenge : YOUR story about YOUR experiences with personal growth.

The idea is to collect a good number of articles and publish them either in my eNewsletter COMPASS, or as a separate book in the MOVING HORIZONS series, or both. My working title for that book is OTHER JOURNEYS at the moment.

There are only three rules, otherwise you can participate in any way you wish :

1. The articles you submit should be between 500 and 750 words long (my article Beginning of a Journey is 629 words).

2. I reserve the right to slightly (not materially) edit the articles and choose which articles will make it into COMPASS or the book OTHER JOURNEYS. You will have final approval before any publication occurs.

3. You will need to give me your full name, a valid eMail address and the town / country you live in. You can decide later how much of that you want to publish in the book. Until then your contact details are absolutely confidential, of course.

That's it. So if you have an interesting story about your own spiritual growth to tell, and want to share it with other like-minded people, please feel free to send me your article by eMail and we'll take it from there.

I am looking forward to your contribution !

"To write spiritually is to engage in a search for authentic language. You’ll find your truth by writing your way to it."

Patrice Vecchione

"The positive thing about writing is that you connect with yourself in the deepest way, and that's heaven. You get a chance to know who you are, to know what you think. You begin to have a relationship with your mind."

Natalie Goldberg
